A blog day
I am actually on my blog on a day off YAY!!. I had said I would do ALL I could to keep up with my blog on my very limited virtual life and very limitless real life. Usually as a rule on my off days I am wrapped up playing some game or listening to music. But I did have a few people all 2 of them telling me they wanted to hear more about my little online life. When last we chatted I was telling you about "Ahlisa" and her little virtual home. Trust me that virtual life did not come easy, in tso you had to work for the funds you received. You weren't handed any virtual funds you have to skill up and work at it. You either get a business, or doing things like boards, pizza or what ever else would make you money. I briefly had a little store that only sold clothing, flowers, art and gifts. I even had a delivery service for flowers and gifts for birthdays to please forgive me. My friend Artmichelle and I even had a successful garden where people would come and talk, play checkers, or read. I also allowed people to purchase a stone in which they wrote poetry or messages to those they loved. I played TSO for 2 years until I found another game in which to waste my time. http://www.there.com/ When I first started playing "There" you were not allowed to just join the game . You had to apply for it and then be sent an email to let you know if you were accepted. The reason is because they were in beta and didn't allow too many people in. It even asked intimate details of your computer, what windows you use, how much ram you have, how much memory you have (hmmm sounds like I heard that before), yes imitated details to see if you qualified and if you were accepted to run There software. I ran mine once and was denied, then ran Dennis laptop and was accepted. Once I was accepted I attempted to run the game on my computer with no success. I finally found a loop hole and started playing hehehe. You don't know at first but the reason they have you tell them all this crap is because of people who are true online players will run out and buy whatever video card, ram, etc that needs to be used to play the game. I (thank god) am not one of those people. Besides I could not afford to upgrade my computer for a damn game. There.com was a lot different from TSO. Characters had more interactions but they were more like cartoons. I mean YES they all are cartoons but There reminded you of one. TSO look more like real people in some ways. What I liked about There is the fact I could change clothes, hair, makeup, wear jewelry, ride cars, boats, scooters, it had more to offer my virtual life. The one thing I did not like about the game was the property situation. In TSO I had my own home that was easy to obtain and build. In There it was a whole other story, beside it was not easy to obtain and keep a business. There was about money and them making it not you, maybe because it was real and they wanted a part of your virtual dollars. I was not having that so Ii never had success in the game of there.com, I just wasted my money and my time. such joy.
